Great experience at Atlantic lodge. Got a pet free King bed room with a nice view during Fall season. Rates were very decent and basic breakfast buffet was also included. Cozy vibes and great amenities. Rivals name brands pretty easily. We had the sunrise view room and it was great. Sunset happens on the back side rooms.
Rooms: Decent clean rooms with Balconey.

Incredible ocean/island view, staff was excellent, they have a great breakfast, and it's close to Acadia National Park and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

The balconies are really the main feature here, they have amazing views of the bay and islands below. The suites are on the pricier end, especially considering the location which is about a 10-15 minute walk from downtown, but ours was very spacious, well-equipped and clean. Breakfast was okay.
Nearby activities: Very close to Acadia NP entrance.
Walkability: 10-15 minutes walk from downtown Bar Harbor. First stretch goes through the Hampton Inn parking lot and has no sidewalks but once you hit the main roads it's an easy, marked path.
Food & drinks: Breakfast is simple, nothing particularly good or bad to be noted.

I wanted to love this place, but just couldnt. It definitely is not worth the nightly $300+ price point we paid in October 2023. There was an incredibly cute inn right in town that was half the price. Do your research! I just listened to a blogger. Not a good idea. The carpet in our room smelled like mildew. We did notice on our way out that some rooms had tile so at least ask for that! It was clean, but furniture and bathroom is old and outdated. The Breakfast area looks like a preschool room. I suggest eating outside. We asked for a quiet room. We were located near a parking lot and vending machine, so not exactly quiet. There is an old air conditioning unit in the room that makes a lot of noise. We liked it and were able to sleep better with it on but that may not be the case for some people. Its back in a residential/business area which made it slightly hard to find. The view would have been nice, but it was Cloudy for us so we didnt even get that luxury. There is no access to the ocean. A couple from another country was loudly complaining when we arrived. I thought they were just hard to please, but they were not wrong. I saw that when we got our room. Just dont expect too much.
