Rick and his crew did a great job on our build. Weather delays due to a wet spring and early summer were beyond their control, but when they could get in, they completed the project in 5 days. It was one of the hardest working crews I’ve ever seen. Our yard was a swamp and the solutions Rick came up with looks fantastic and should address most of our issues. Other contractors we had bid basically said they could not help. We were at a loss on what to do, and his vision of how the project would look and descriptions of the end product were perfect. He was also super patient with us when we decided to change the patio shape and enlarge it mid-project.

I hired RIck to build two stone columns at the end of our driveway last January 2018. Nearly a year later, the project is still unfinished! I made the BIG mistake of paying him in full. Over the last 6- 9 months I have sent texts, written a letter, called, left messages.... he has made nothing but empty promises and time lines that he never met. He left debris and garbage at the site (neighbors even complained he dumped an old wheelbarrow caked with cement on their property). When my husband returned from overseas, I finally had to ask him to contact Rick to see if he would be more responsive. He was initially responsive, but has showed no initiative to finish our job. Currently, we are out 20k and have two unfinished columns at the base of our driveway- no caps, no lighting, and the family plaques were mounted on the wrong columns. MY ADVICE TO ALL WHO ARE CONSIDERING HIRING RICK: IF YOU HAVE GIVEN A DOWN PAYMENT, ASK FOR IT BACK AND FIND ANOTHER REPUTABLE CONTRACTOR. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEGUN TO PAY INSTALLMENTS, STOP PAYING UNTIL THE JOB IS FINISHED.
