Nothing less than epic for my birthday trip!! Double and triple headers all morning and then got to hook and land my dream catch a 250-300# blue marlin! All I can say is captain chandler sure knows how to deliver way more than we were expecting and we can’t wait to come back! He will be our forever captain for sure. Total blast to be around!
And as far as the couple people who left him a bad review on here, they couldn’t have been with the same captain. Just look at all the other google reviews they have left elsewhere they are all one star. Obviously those people you just can can’t please.

Just finished our third trip in 2 years with Capt Chandler and look forward to many more. If you are looking for a Capt that will go the extra mile to make your trip the best it can be this is your guy.

Before I start let me just say, our captain was a nice guy BUT he showed up 1.5 hours late with no deckhand or bait. We then proceeded to catch only 40 mullet (“I’ve never fished for tuna with mullet) and run 3 hours to an isolated rig, where we stayed for 4 hours striking out. Only to learn there was no backup plan at all and even if there was we had zero bait. we even had to catch a Barracuda just so we could try chunking. I’m sorry but Save yourself the trouble and hire someone else.

First off, “captain” was late over 30 mins. Boat showed up filthy disgusting with mid and fish throw up and throat in the fish box with an unimaginable stench. No deck hand. Motors were messed up and barely could start after he had to switch the fuel-water separator 50 miles off shore… the old rusty separator he decided to throw in the water and pollute the gulf. He did the same with his packs of cigarettes, with their plastic wrappers and their inside foil looking film. Smoking cigarettes all the time, breathing fresh air in the middle of the gulf was not as easy as you think with someone smoking 2 packs in 10 hours. Caught 1 barracuda to chunk it to fish tuna which we caught 2 football sized baby ones, and we had to go and catch our mini mullet bait ourselves… Very disappointed.
