On 5/15/23 I encountered a security officer at a vacant lot who was working an extortion scam with Direct Towing and Auto Sales. The scam is predatory towing or non consensual towing. There are laws against this activity in the state of la. Apparently she lied about an encounter with us in this lot and called this tow company to tow our vehicle about seven minutes after our arrival to eat at Acme Oyster house. About thirty minutes later we went to leave and discovered our car was gone. When calling the tow company the fee more than doubled and he wanted cash money to bring our vehicle back. According to department of transportation this was not a legitimate tow because his tow truck doesnt meet state compliance. We never encountered this security officer until after leaving and having been extorted out of our money we took photo evidence in which she cussed us for taking her photo. This security officer should be doing her job rather than running a scam with your fam. I hope karma catches up to you someday. Were doing our part by calling all the proper authorities to include your employer to make them aware of your illegal activities while on duty.
