Today, I looked forward to eating Mellow Mushroom all day. I got to the store and I didn’t even get greeted when i walked in. I was told my To-go order wasn’t ready so I went to wait at the bar to have a beer but the entire bar was full. We mentioned sitting at a table as we waited but the hostess said we couldn’t unless we got served which i thought was really strange. Then when at the bar, the bartender didn’t greet us either but straight away told us if we were dining in we would need to sit at a table, extremely confusing and pretty rude. I’ve never had this type of service at a Mellow Mushroom and I was actually shocked. Neither the hostess nor bartender made us feel welcomed. If we hadn’t already ordered over the phone we would have left. To top it off my friends and I have all worked at Mellow location before and were surprised at our treatment. Food was still up to par but service gets a big thumbs down.
