Many of the homes they built in New Orleans have staircases/entrances to side door that are falling down and completely crumbling within 2-5 years. They make homes for owners with income restrictions, but they hire construction companies that do faulty work that leaves the homeowners with costly repairs within first few years of paying off the home.
When I emailed the company to bring this issue to their attention and ask what they could do, they essentially said I should have repainted the stairs as the manual suggested. The stairs are collapsing and completely rotting out completely unacceptable, yet they put the blame on the homeowner.

Doing great work for the people of New Orleans. These guys are the real deal and I highly recommend working with them on affordable housing.
