Great neighborhood bar right at the street car tieup. Unique food choices, the Macaroni and Cheese Pancakes are exactly what they sound like and may be an acquired taste, but everything else on the menu is tip top!

My friend and I were able to order one round of drinks before we were asked to leave the bar. Our bartender told us that she felt uncomfortable accepting our government-issued IDs and that other patrons remarked about how young we looked (we are in our mid to late 20s). She only conceded that we were there legally until I presented proof via LA Wallet, and she quizzed my friend about the info on her ID. Ultimately, my issue lies in which everything was handled. For one, if you were unsure of our ages, why serve us at all? Secondly, once she started to doubt her decision to serve us she shouldve kindly and calmly requested to recheck our IDs more thoroughly instead of making a scene in front of the entire bar. I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at Carrollton Station Bar and doubt I will be back. Overall, if you look young, dont bother patronizing this bar unless you want to be harassed or declined service. Clearly, this is a bar reserved for those who can remember the Cold War.
