        Seeing this place rated 4.6, I was optimistic. And now, Im just disappointed. Ordered the Hot 8 Sampler, wasnt told they were out of gator balls until the food was paid for and served. Okay, no big deal. The bacon and cheddar beignets were over salted and tasted strongly of beer, with a sweet note. Id give them a 2/5 on their own. The meat pies and crawfish pies were okay, but not 4/5, more like 3/5. Also ordered the slow roasted pulled pork sandwich with the hand cut fries. Again, it was just disappointing. The pulled pork tasted like what you would get out of a supermarket mass produced tub of pulled pork, and there was very little on it compared to the size of the sandwich. The roll it was on was fresh and tasty, so overall the sandwich gets a 2/5 for that. The hand cut fries were over salted, and burnt. The bartender was super friendly and quick to take our order.
