First time here and let me tell ya it's absolutely disgusting . First walking in I thought of an old run down cafeteria. No gloves were worn and no masks . Got the fries steak with rice and Lima beans all cold with a Can coke for 9 dollars . When I asked about the size of the meal the Cashier named Dave said , Looks alright to me get it or get outta the line . Please save yourself from eating here .

I went today to eat cause I am so sad to hear that they are closing next Friday. This has been such a great place to eat since 1984. The family was super & they knew everyone. You could go in there and there would be a judge line next to a garbage man. Everyone was welcome. They used to serve breakfast and I loved going in and hearing what all the "old guys" were talking about. The food was always good and priced right. It's sad that all of the old monroe establishments are fading away. AND the new ones are just not up to par. Either the food is not all that and is over priced Or the service stinks. I know things dont last forever but it does not change the longing for these places that were such a part of our lives. Would some please open a restuarant with good reasonable price food with service to match
