SWEGS Kitchen - Mandeville

The gentleman was very nice to me but they were out of everything, plus it smelled like garbage inside the restaurant!

The Mandeville location is not a restaurant like the south shore locations. They only have the overflow items from catering. So you can pick up what ever they have at that time "to go". If you want a full meal of your choice from Swegs, you'll need to go to another location.

The food is blah at best and pretty pricey. I stopped in to grab a few meals for my drive back home and ended up just throwing them away and stopping elsewhere to grab some edible food. The staff was helpful so I’ll give them a few stars for effort.

My husband was in the hospital recently and just came home.One of the benefits of our health insurance is when you come home they will send meals to you for a few days.well when I heard this I thought it was going to be frozen meals like you would get from Meal on Wheels.The Senior Centers try but their meals all seem to be boiled food and tasteless.The food from Swegs Kitchen was not boiled food it looked fresh and the vegetables were still crunchy and the meat was tender and it tasted very good.My husband liked it and ate it all and planned what he was having for the next day.I am on the Keto diet and I could eat this food also if I wanted to.The Micros are all on the container and how to warm it up although I have to say with my old eyes that had just had surgery they were a little small but I made them out.The driver was very courteous too.Thank You B.
