Sorry excuse for a small town business

I see you deleted my first review....Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Only giving 1 star because I have to! We brought our mower here to get an estimate on how much to fix. 1 week passes and haven't heard nothing. So I call and was advised that the mower was already 200 dollars in work! No one called me to confirm the work that needed to be done. I asked them to call my husband to go over what was done and pricing like he had already done so with me. Another week passed and no call. So my husband calls and a lady says I'll have him call you... no call back. 4 days later I call and leave a voicemail. To my suprise I get a phone call only to tell me another 100 dollars of work was needed. I asked her to call my husband and discuss this with him. Again he received no call back. So my husband goes to the shop. He then was told the mower had a blown motor and wasn't fixable. The 200+ charge was for a wire, a muffler, that he took off an old mower and priced retail, which the muffler had nothing to do with it running. He then tried to tell my husband that it never ran even before we brought it in. This wasn't true for it did run and only would sometimes kill when blades were engaged. He also broke the blade cable while it was in his position and wanted to charge us for it also putting a carb kit on a week old carburetor. After getting the law evolved, he decided to change it up and lower pricing to 100 for labor. Negative ghost rider! We ended up leaving the mower their as is and calling it a lost. This, not even business, but **** hole in the wall place is ran by nothing more than scam artist. They will so call "fix" something but with only what they have laying down in the back yard and charge retail price. They are very unprofessional and do not know what it is to run a even decent business. Be sure if you do decide to use them, don't give them your name for they can't seem to find 5 minutes of their time to call back but will find you on facebook to check up on your post. I will never ever do business with them again nor direct anyone in their direction! Never will do business and I will continue to voice my experience to everyone rather it's posted here it not. Better believe you have lost customers already!
