All I can say is that shes gorgeous! As you can tell, we still have some work we need to do, but the countertops distract from those little details and transform the kitchen. The staff at Lafayette Marble and Granite brought my vision to life and were lovely to work with and professional! The install crew went above and beyond.

Melanie was very helpful in choosing our tub surround. She knows her product & was always courteous. The installers did a great job & was also helpful & cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend Lafayette Marble & Granite. Cheryl & Jim

EDIT TO ADD: the company reached out and replaced the piece between the cabinet and stove that had the brightest orange. Even after leaving a questionable review, every employee was still nice and professional. I appreciate it. Disappointed. I got polished granite in my kitchen last week. The island is mostly smooth but the other countertops feel all scratchy, like not finished properly, it feels dirty even though I wiped them down. Also, when the guy came to measure my kitchen I was talking to him about layout and how they would cut the stone. He asked if I wanted them to call me before cutting so I can approve the cuts, I said yesss, he said okay I wrote it down and they will call you before they cut. That never happened. Also, he asked if I want 3 inches of stone between wall and stove and I said yes.. When they came install they did not leave me this piece. I know I was charged for it bc he added it to the quote it was only 3x30 so not expensive, but its the principle. Also, they don't give you the opportunity to see the entire stone. My specific stone had smaller pieces in front of it so I never got to see the whole thing which is disturbing. I did see some subtle orange in the stone I picked but nothing dramatic, I made it clear to the sales person that I did not like the orange and was glad it was subtle. You would think the sales person would have communicated that to the person that cut my stone so they could take that into consideration, but no. There's a few spots in my countertop that's bright orange, not subtle like I had seen in the yard, its natural stone so I get it, but the annoying part is the placement of the orange, they had the opportunity to flip the countertop and put the orange closer to the wall and I would have been able to cover it with decor, but no they put it closer to the edge! Like WTH. and that orange spot has a crack in it which makes it catch your eye more. Every person that has come visit and see my stone goes to that spot immediately and starts scratching over it and they ask why didn't the flip that piece and put that closer to the wall? Plus my island - they put the busiest part with the most orange on the largest part of the island. The area that they cut out for the sink is one of my favorite parts of the stone. They literally could have flipped it and the sink would have cut out the ugly part on the island. Another thing is the sales person told me when they come install it, the guys will tell you if you leave a review they will leave you a can of granite sealer. That didn't happen, I asked the guys about it and they didn't have any with them but said I can go to Carencro to pick it up. My advice to potential buyers is be pushy and micromanage your project and make sure they are communicating with each other. I specifically tried not to be overbearing or controlling because I trusted there judgment and wanted to let them do their job. But 4K later and I'm disappointed, worst part is... I could be completely satisfied had they communicated more, I love the stone itself - just not the placement or the finish! They missed the mark on this one.
