As other recent reviews have stated, the hotel is under construction for renovation. None of this was mentioned when we booked about a dozen rooms for family to come from out of town for a wedding. They were stripping and reapplying wallpaper and trimming in the hallways on the two days we were there, so everything smelled of glue and paint with construction debris everywhere. Other reviews show the pictures. Inside of the rooms, it looked like the Landlord Special. Clearly no quality control over the work thats been done. My room looked done, but the paint on the doors was so thick that it made the door stick. There was paint all over things that shouldnt have paint. Lighting fixtures dont look attached and also arent finished, its just a bulb in the cheapest recessed lighting you can get from Wish. There are huge shipping containers in the parking lot, along with all kinds of machinery. Our room initially didnt lock. The deadbolt would open when using the handle from the outside. When I alerted the person at the front desk, they told me theyd have to change the door (at 11pm?). I asked if I could be moved to a different room and it felt like I was inconveniencing her and interrupting her phone conversation with another employee. Got moved to a room across the hall from where the workers were storing the paint and glue buckets, so got to hear paint mixers going for hours on end.
Now for the good:
Breakfast was great. Everything fresh and staff very friendly and attentive. Different food every day.
Shower was great. The water stayed hot and the shower head is awesome.
There were dishes and a kitchenette which came in handy.
Wouldnt come back. Clearly theres management and planning issues.

Maybe not a fair review, it seems like the hotel is undergoing some renovation? There are no notes or signs stating this, it just is kind of a mess. Maybe once all the renos are completed ,it would be worth the $200 we paid to stay here... as is though, barely worth half that.
