I have lived here for 2 years, the 1st year I had no problem with roaches but the 2nd year they started kicking people out like crazy and their roaches started moving from house to house, now mine is infested and I have 2 kids and 1 on the way, with horrible roaches, I have called CPHA and told Ronda I had a bad problem with roaches to the point that my 1 year old had like 6 crawling in her bed which pissed me off, I can't cook without roaches falling in my skillet, I can't use the bathroom without roaches crawling on the walls, if I open a hallway door roaches take off running, if I try to get clothes out of my kids dressers roaches try to run and hide, my cat doesn't like eating out of her food dish because roaches will be covering her food, I have killed so many male, female, pregnant, baby and in the middle of mating roaches that I'm sick and tired of living here. I also found out their pest control people water their spray down because they can't tell tenants to leave when they spray! I call Ronda and all she says is "well, the bug people should be out on this day, theirs nothing I can do." I have applied for HUD but the waiting process could take up to a year or longer. If my family has to keep going through this I'm going to file a complaint or have to go to court. I only get $545 a month to spend on rent, utilities, diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies and household items as well as gas to get places. It's ridiculous that they don't care about the pest control as much as they should but if you get 1 month behind on rent your getting an eviction notice within a day of it not being paid. I'm about to start using my rent to pay a good pest control service and if they send an eviction notice I'll take them to court or find some kind of legal means to make sure they start providing the nessasary care to their renters.
