Arbor Vitae did excellent work cutting down crowded trees in my backyard during a very cold and wet period in February, despite the fact that the owner got a bad cold at that time. He came back and finished the job. They also ground the stumps and hauled away the leaves, branches, limbs and trunks.
I recommend Arbor Vitae and plan to use their services again soon.

I worked with Franklin on the very first job of Arbor Vitae...almost 20 years ago...it was a huge pine...huge...it was in the back yard..right next to the house which backed up to a rather deep ravine. It was raining as it will do in Louisiana from time to time...a steady warm steamy deluge...he climbed that tree and popped his head out of all the pine bows and tied off that first limb...he yelled for me to take up the slack..and when he cut it ...just as it drops loose to give it some rope....let it go...just a bit...so the wood wouldn't be able to hit him...you have to drop it just enough but not too much because it's swinging...of course...well...I did exactly what he told me to do on that warm wet slippery morning...all those years ago...and we got that baby down...just my brother and I...I worked for him ever since....I would do anything..give everything...to be able to listen to my brother sing his silly songs in the canopy of some lovely tree on a wet, sultry, hotter than hell Louisiana morning one more time....just one more time
