Overall, these are vile people. Completely unwilling to work with you on anything. The only thing they care about is money so expect them to be as rude as possible to you as long as you don't fit their white, wealthy, cookie cutter image. I rented from them as an LSU student. Kevin brought us a "Notice to Quit" yesterday because of noise complaints without any warning. We had given our neighbors our number to call if the noise was too loud, because we know the building is old, so even small noises travel, and it is hard to tell what other people can hear. Nonetheless, had they texted us we would have been more than willing to be quieter or turn the music down. But they chose not to. He also said he would be keeping our $850 security deposit "for the trouble of having to bring the paper to us". While he was there, he also managed to basically call us drug addicts, I guess because we aren't preppy enough for him. When told that neither of us have parents because my mother died when I was 10 and my boyfriends mother is homeless in san francisco, so we really needed the deposit to find another place especially on a faulty eviction with only 7 days notice, he responded "ok bud that's just how it is" and was extremely rude when we explained we would potentially be homeless for no reason. So now, with 7 days notice and an extremely rigorous school schedule, I will be last minute finding another place to live. Though Kevin's claims for eviction are unfounded and would not hold up in court especially considering one is we "endangered the safety of other tenants" which is just flat out untrue and a blatant lie, I have better things to do than fight in court to live in a place run by these absolute imbeciles. For the record, I'll be graduating from LSU with honors in the honors college in the Spring, so Kevin's egregious attack on my character and implications that I do heroin or something are completely unfounded. Not that that even matters, because this treatment of anyone under any circumstances is uncalled for and shows this company's complete lack of character. On top of that, when I moved in, there were tons of holes in my floors, holes behind the toilet, all the light switches are crooked, and there are spiders and other bugs literally everywhere. I'd rent from someone else whenever possible.
