Eric Burns did a wonderful job on our inspection. We had an excellent experience with him - he was friendly, he took the time to explain things to us, and he was honest. He also got our inspection report back incredibly fast. We will definitely be using and recommending him again!

Eric (Accurate Inspections) is truly amazing. He spent three hours with my wife and I and our realtor, going through the home, thoroughly inspecting every inch and letting me follow along so I could see what he saw. He helpfully explained to us what work may need to go into the house and when, so that we know what we are getting ourselves into. No question was a dumb question, and he let us ask all of them, kindly and honestly answering each of them. His inspection report was detailed, clear, and a guide for the rest of the home buying process as it provided positives and negatives, pictures of every area of concern, and a rating system that is now allowing us to prioritize what we need from the seller and budget what work we will be putting into the home. As a first time homebuyer, the process has been stressful, but Eric literally “introduced” us to our home and gave us a confident peace of mind going forward.

I was reffered to Eric from a coworker that used him for their home purchase and I have to say I am truly happy with my decision. My wife and I were first time home buyers, so getting a good home inspector was key to us. With our house being over 90 years old there was obviously going to be some findings, but we wanted to get the best possible inspection so we knew exactly what we had going into the purchase. What I liked most about our inspection was how thorough it was. Even in some seriously heavy rain, Eric suited up in a Tyvek and was under the house in the crawlspace. Even in all of the rain, he was able to identify a plumbing leak based on how water was bubbling up from underneath. Throughout the inspection Eric pointed out his findings and showed me exactly what he saw that raised red flags. Everything from small sections of rotted wood on our storage shed to major electrical and plumbing concerns. At the end of the inspection, we sat down and went over all of the main findings to get a sense of priority for what we would ask of the sellers. He generated a 29-page, color-coded report with pictures and descriptions and had it to us in two days. Flash forward to a couple of weeks later, and it was time to review the work that was done as part of our inspection findings. Luckily for us, we hired Eric to come out and do the re-inspection. Of the 3 major things we asked to be repaired, 1 was not done completely and 1 was not done at all (not at the seller's fault I might add; be careful choosing your contractors..). In 20 minutes Eric was able to determine that neither the electrical nor plumbing repairs were completed to an acceptable standard and actually explained over the phone to the general contractor what exactly was wrong with their work. After some more back and forth between the seller and the contractor we ended up getting all of the work done properly. I would highly recommend Eric and Accurate Inspections to anyone going through the home buying process. If I buy another house in the area, I know who I will be going to for the inspection.

Eric Burns with Accurate Inspections recently completed a home inspection for me on the home I am currently purchasing. He was extremely thorough, polite, and professional, and he quickly provided a detailed inspection report with explanations and pictures of all items that needed repair and were of concern. My lender also required additional explanation on certain items within the home. Eric went above and beyond the inspection report and drafted a letter to specifically address the concerns in detail. I would highly recommend him to anyone for a home inspection, and I am very pleased with his services, positive attitude, and professionalism.

Eric at Accurate Inspections was referred to me through a friend. They told me he was very detailed in his reporting style and that he provided a color coding report of his findings. This was important to me in finding a home inspector. The day of my inspection, Eric was already at the property upon my arrival and was already taking pictures of deficiencies he noted on the outside. As a first time home buyer again of almost 20 years of owning a home, I found Eric to be very friendly and thorough in his inspection. During the process he would explain the items he found. At the closing of the inspection he went over in detail the items found with me and my Realtor. He kept his word and I received my report by the time he mentioned the following day. . Because of Eric's thorough inspection, I was able to present to the sellers a detailed list of items that I requested to be fixed. I am happy to say they are fixing all of the "major" deficiencies he noted. I believe the color coding, detailed explanations and timeliness of the report helped to make this a successful inspection. I would highly recommend Eric at Accurate Inspections if you are considering buying a home!!!
