The Newnan GA hospice branch has some of the most incompetent and uncaring staff that I have ever encountered. I lost my mom directly due to their and Dr Anders lack of knowledge regarding the appropriate care of a hospice patient. I will be reporting them both to Medicare.

I was so upset after calling numerous times beginning Sat to get some medical supplies (wound dressings), and then made several starting Mon just for an explanation and a response from the Branch Manager Brandon, you think he ever called....lol....NO, not even an apology that he would contact me later...a workforce is a direct reflection of their supervisor, so if he does not care, I often wonder what the care would be like in an emergent situation...Normally I am very pleased with the service I get, but this is unacceptable behavior, no one is that busy when you are in the CARING business...

This company has been nothing but trouble since I started with them 4 months ago. The nurse that comes to my house is extremely nice and well educated. The office staff (well ONE in particular) is a mess. The nurse that comes to my house was off for a week and she explained to me that she was not going to be here that she was not sure who they would send in her place. Well the answer to that is NO ONE !!! The office never said they didnt put me with another nurse that I would have to go to my wound center for care (which I dont know why since I am suppose to be getting home care). Then the woman in the office BLAMED THE NURSE!! On a side note. The nurse that comes to my house contract ended on the Friday I saw her and she had not signed her new contract yet so in my eyes she doesnt even work there yet!! The office made NO accommodation for my wound care in the absence of this nurse (who I love by the way. She is great) Instead I had to make arrangements with my wound center, travel over half an hour and have a co pay of $184 for every time I go to the wound center. That on a fixed disability income doesnt work The Griffin, GA office needs to do better or find a new job.
