Winn-Dixie

This was never a good grocery store. Many items, such as frozen fruit, were often out of stock and difficult to find, it was closing early (9:00 p. m.) compared to the closing time of other stores, employees were not particularly polite or willing to help, and prices were nothing to get excited about. This store is going out if business, their last day of operation is set to be 02/11/2022. It is not a good thing that, other than Matherne's Market and Rouses Market, this is the only grocery store around the LSU campus area, but unfortunately this Winn-Dixie was not a very good grocery store

This location is very easy to get in and out. The last two times I went there it was super quick. They may not have the largest selection but I think you can get what you need if substitutions are ok.

Love this place. All the people are super friendly. It makes you feel like home here. Please don't close. Been a dedicated customer for years. #screwrouses

I usually will go early when they first open, which to me is the best time hardly anyone in there. I'm in and out get what I need/want and on my way. The clerks are friendly and very much so helpful if needed.
