Staff Sergeant Garland Is hands-down one of the best recruiters around. He helped me re-enlist from active duty to the guard with a lengthy break in service and got me exactly what I asked for. He was able to answer every question I had and if he didn’t know the answer right off the top of his head, he found it and It never took him long to get back to me. His experience, knowledge, and dedication is what makes him one of the best.

SSG Garland is the best recruiter in town hands down. He explained everything to me from start to finish & he actually listened to my desires & involved me throughout the process! I've heard horror stories about recruiters, but can honestly say he the truth 💯. Not to mention while a full time student I'll get $734 a month, 100% tuition exemption along with a $20,000 enlistment bonus. I am Dana Williams a 19 year old recent graduate of Peabody Magnet High and a current student at Southern University. I have been working with SSG Garland for about two years. I recently Enlisted into the Louisiana National Guard as a 31B with him as my recruiter. Before I enlisted, I was unsure about enlisting. I kept changing my mind and I always questioned the Guard even after he explained to me a million times the benefits and the service. It took a while for me to make my decision but he never got frustrated, pushy nor forceful. He was always understanding and willing to be patient with my decision. Best recruiter around with no contest, he told me everything flat out and was honest with me and helped me get the job I wanted with no problem. If you ever want to join the guard he is the one to go to!
