Meijer Pharmacy

No communication with doctors despite the fact that they claim THEY contact my doctor for a PA (My doctor says she had never been contacted by them). This is the fourth time Ive had an important medicine delayed by a week or more because they cant communicate. My doctor even preemptively sent a prior authorization with the prescription once because she knows the issues this pharmacy has and they ignored it and delayed my medication by a week because they were just twiddling their thumb and doing nothing. Most of the staff is fantastic and incredibly nice but their system and practices are abysmal.

My Rx was back ordered at my regular pharmacy. I called Meijer and they were super helpful. Looked to make sure they had it in stock and could fill it, took all of my info so it would be ready, got coupon information and navigated insurance with me. Victoria was especially helpful. Very impressed with all of the service Ive had from the Meijer pharmacy staff.

I drove all the way to them, even after they called me to remind me of my appointment. 12.2 miles. I drove all the way in for a fifth COVID vaccine. Once I got there, I was told they had already given me the vaccine. Then I had to drive all the way back home. GRRR!
