Two of the managers are father and son and the sons girlfriend who claims to be the dinning room manager was a new hire. My wife and I are sitting in the Pikeville, KY restaurant now and the Randy the head manager refuses to change the bar. It's getting to the point we don't want to be here. Also Charlie forgot his keys at home twice in 4 days. The waitresses get treated like crap, the food has gotten to be bad, from the understanding we are under, everyday is suppose to be a different theme menu, but the head manager doesn't want to order what is needed. He does not want the bar changed out between lunch and dinner but wants to charge dinner price for a lunch bar. The waitresses get talked to like they are nobodies. Also the son basically wants at least one of the waitress' s to sleep with him to keep her job.

Almost every time we are in Pikeville we would go to Shoney's before heading back home, often we would be there for breakfast and lunch with just me and my mother. The waitresses that checked us in for the tables are always friendly, the waitresses that orders our foods is also very friendly and understanding. The waitresses would often come to us to make sure that everything is all well and to see if we need anything such as refills or to order something else such as either other meal or deserts.
We would often order the bar (or some say it buffet) because so that it allows us to choose what exactly we would like to eat, most of the times the foods on the bar is delicious although almost every seafood they serve on the bar isn't so delicious but maybe it's just me that I am not exactly a fan of seafood and I always love their mac 'n cheese because it is very creamy which is just the way I like my mac 'n cheese to be. I must admit that not every meats that they serve on the bar is great, although that is minor problem because they have other delicious meats to make up for it and the only thing that I dislike the most from this place is their watered down drinks but again I almost never drink when I eat so it's fine with me.
My favorite time of the day for Shoney's is the breakfast, you must go there for the breakfast because they have amazingly delicious breakfast to choose such as gravy, biscuits, bacon, sausages, pancakes, waffles, hams and more but for me they got me at gravy!

Not a good experience. As soon as we were seated two waitresses sitting behin us arguing. So asked to be moved. After we got our drinks we went to bar and it was awful looking. Never seen a shoneys bar look like this. Salad bar was basically empty and the hot food looked horrible.

Worst experience ever eating at this Shoney's! Manager is not management material, very rude, disrespectable, and unprofessional with his job. If he is this bad with his customers, I'd hate to be an employee under him. Again, he was very RUDE!
