We drive all the way from Carbondale il to eat here from time to time and needless to say we love it. So sad to hear some have gotten bad service. Hope it never happens to us.

The food was exceptionally good, but the service on the other hand was a whole other experience. My waitresses name was Nikki and she didn't seem to know what she was doing at all. I had to ask for refills continuously, when asking about the specials she didn't seem to know what she was talking about or maybe she just didn't care. She had an attitude the entire time and was all around slow and rude.

We travel from Carrier Mills, Il to Marion, Ky, usually on a weekend to eat @ the Marion Cafe dozens of times. Svc, Atmo, and esp food have been great. Side dishes are so large we split them (get twice the # of choices). Prices are low to medium. Low if you literally split sides. And the PIES!!!! However, we have never had breakfast. They have the LION share of business in Marion (locals). I'd guess Logan and/or gypsyman are competitors or friends of same....
