We stayed for 2 nights the middle of March 2024. The staff were very friendly to us the entire stay. I truly appreciated the staff who were in charge of breakfast, they were constantly checking and making sure there was fresh food the entire time the breakfast bar was open. It was some of the best free breakfast I've had at a hotel. As for the rooms, I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and the overall look of the rooms. I saw a sign that they were newly renovated, and I think they've done am amazing job. The first thing I said to my husband when we walked into the room was "this is the nicest room I've ever stayed in". 10/10 experience, I would absolutely stay there again if I were to visit Madisonville again. Rooms: Newly renovated, very clean. I was thoroughly impressed with the room we stayed in. I have stayed in many hotels, and this room was the first room I didn't find a single thing wrong with. No stains on the bedding, no random hairs from previous guests/staff, and there was so much space in the room. We went with a 1 king bedroom for our 2-night stay. It fit me, my husband, and our toddler comfortably. Overall, I'd score the rooms as a 10/10. Nearby activities: There wasn't many activities near the hotel that we saw, however, there are lots of local coffee shops which is a huge plus to me. My favorite was about a 5 minute drive called Campfire Roasters. Good service and even better drinks. Overall would score nearby activities as a 4/10 Safety: I felt very safe and comfortable the entire stay, the area surrounding where the hotel is located seemed to be a good area. Overall, I'd score safety as a 10/10. Walkability: walkability was low. Definitely need to have a car in order to get from place to place in this town. Overall, I'd score walkability a 1/10 Food & drinks: Free breakfast served daily. All of the food was fresh every day and there were 2 staff members that were constantly checking on the food and filling it as needed. The breakfast changed both days (1st day scrambled eggs and sausage were an option. The 2nd day there was a cheese omelet and bacon as options to change it up). They had buscits and gravy and a waffle maker available both days. Milk, apple juice, and orange juice were also available both days. I do not recall seeing many vegetarian options, any vegan options, or any fruit. The cereal selection was also very bland (only 2 options). Overall, I'd score the breakfast selection as 9/10. I had a unfortunate situation and ended up stranded at this place for almost 10 days. Alison the hotel manager was amazing as well as Jordan and Ben and Dee and Damon and the maintenance guy Bobby there were all really great people working there they helped with my tragic experience. I would recommend everyone to stay here which these people listed here made the experience the best I have had in awhile Pet friendly and close to area to get food locally
