I unfortunately had a similar bad experience with Steve. I found Steve online and read reviews. Then I scheduled an interview. All checked out. He helped us file 2 returns for to companies and my individual return. We had all the info to him very early. In early Jan 2019. He was late sending out 1099's to our contractors and shrugged it off. Our bookkeeper, who was working with him related to me that she had a bad feeling from him. Once he had our info he became very hard to get a hold of. I was headed out of town right before the April 15th deadline and he was still nowhere to be found. Not by email. Not by phone. Finally he sent everything for me to e-sign in late in the day April 14th. Fortunately everything was in on time. Or so I thought. As the year unfolded we realized there was missing info on both the business and personal returns. When I reached out to him he was very friendly and said he'd get right on it. And again he disappeared. I had to request our tax forms from the IRS to take them to our new accountant. After weeks when he finally returned my call.. He related that he was a drunk and went on a bender. Great. A drunk did our taxes. He said he would work with our new accountant to straighten things out. Again he was not much help as he never returned emails or calls. We're finally sorting things out heading to the new tax year (with much better professional help) I would steer clear of Steve and CTS Tax & Accounting. If his drinking story is true... I wish him the best but it's not worth the risk.

Service is the worst I've ever had. Messed up my daughters taxes and will not answer the phone for over a month.

BEWARE! Steven Pecore charged me for services that he never provided, and now I'm facing thousands of dollars in fines from the IRS, KY State, and Louisville Metro. I've been trying to work with him for months to resolve it, but he takes weeks to respond to simple requests for information. I know of at least one other client who is facing similar issues. I'm sure there are more out there. DO NOT USE CTS ACCOUNTING!!!
