Puppy Love Pet Resort

If you've ever had a chihuahua you know how feisty but defensive they can be. I had taken Taz to several places in the area for boarding before going to Puppy Love on Hunsinger and he failed all of his "meet n greets" because of his defensiveness. I hated the thought of him being in a crate the whole time he was there so I loved the free roam style setting because he's so tiny and he's been socialized, I knew he wouldn't have a problem with the other dogs. Peggy took him right away from my arms, before he could object, and he was giving everyone kisses before we left. To my relief she said they would love to have him stay with them. When I called to check on him he was always on someones lap or in the office with them. I'm so glad we found our place to stay when he cant go with me.

Very accommodating and they were able to groom my dog without putting a lasso around her neck per vets orders. She looked adorable and was happy. That means a lot! She also had a winter scarf on instead of a bandana. Really cute!

They are always nice and did great grooming my pup while she was boarded. Only complaint is their location. Husband almost got robbed when trying to drop off.

Boarded dogs bark nonstop, maybe it's due to the small enclosures, attention or lack of exercise. Cages are small. Dogs aren't getting exercised. Dogs in daycare are allowed to do what they please (lunging, growling at windows and barking uncontrollably). Think twice before taking your dog here. Lastly, animals are left alone overnight. Place looks good from the outside.
