St Matthews Care Center work

there were no other rehab places for my mom to go to after surgery so she was sent to this location . Her room was very outdated . The walls and ceiling were dirty. The bed was old and was sitting next to heater which was very rusty and dirty . The commode had chrome assistant rails that were rusty. The rooms need a huge makeover . No phone in room until after numerous requests I would say call button was answered in a timely manor . The staff was very nice .

This is a horrible facility do not take your loved one there they steal. My mother passed and in a suitable amount of time we tried to go back to get her stuff and only half her stuff was there I contacted the facility director Joanne never got a phone call back I contacted the facility receptionist they laughed they thought it was funny but they'd send out an email they didn't know how they were going to find it I didn't find it too funny. I'm glad that they think it's important enough for them to steal my mother's personal property and not get back our stuff we didn't even get to clean her room out they packed her up and had her out of there before we even had a chance to get back to the facility we weren't even notified that they were packing up her stuff then we get there and her stuff is gone most of it apparently they don't care so you better keep your loved ones stuff under lock and key or it's going to be missing when they're gone.

This Sub Acute Nursing Home is okay but it is below standards in regards to offering quality medical attention.

I have been with this company for 36 years and have worked at this building for 17 years in various capacities. I have built lasting relationships with many of these residents and their families. I enjoy working here. During this pandemic our team has really become close with the folks in here and i am proud of many of our staff for stepping up and helping as needed. I think the managment here is moving things in a positive direction and i think very highly of our director.
