The gentleman at this desk was very helpful to me in figuring out what was wrong with my dryer. He had the exact part I needed and gave me explicit instructions on how to take the defective part out and install a new one. I was able to fix my dryer on my own and definitely saved some money!

I'm not a Maytag repair man, But with honesty of the owner and video learned how to go into diagnostic mode on my Maytag washer using LED lights told me shift actuator motor was bad. So started calling. Called several known places then called Handy Man appliance and he basically agreed with me and I went to get the part and a clutch for it cause it grinded a couple times before. Sold me the same part at the same price had it in stock not at two different stores or order it and told me the 47.00 clutch at other stores was 37.00 and I didn't need it. With in a hour i was washing clothes ty. I would go there before anywhere else

I bought a belt for a Whirlpool Thin Twin unit, told them what my machine was inquiringly because the part # I had seemed too long. They sold me a belt and it was way wrong. It was $15 I come back to get the right one which was near $40 No biggie! They would not return the wrong belt. They did not care if I ever returned. A college aged man behind counter found it amusing. They killed future business with a repairman over 15 dollars. I left all the belts on their counter. Why do all appliance parts salesmen around Louisville detest the public. They all seem like they despise their own existence. I am filing suit in civil court because I did supply them with machine ID. All Thin Twin Whirlpools use same belt. The creepy old man in back hiding behind camera and speaking suddenly from the crypt said it was right for a thin twin. I think he sold me the wrong belt purposely. They owe me 2 days wages and a correct belt! Purely miserable mouthy people with hugely bad attitudes. Their policy about opened bags on a belt is pure ignorance! Most dryer belts do not come in a plastic package, I buy them often. I am back to ordering online because it is obviously by far the most convenient.
