Incredibly aggressive sales people who continue showing up at my door. The first one demanded I give him my phone number then email and when I declined he stormed off, gave me a Whatever! And hand gestured me. Then the next day a different rep came. And the next day another. Ive used adt too in the past and learned my lesson. They are awful!

ADT customers service department is an absolute joke. We order the ADT DIY kit and was never able to get it connected we have talk to multiple people from different departments and not one person can help troubleshoot the hub. I am now trying to cancel and return their equipment and not one person can direct me where to cancel. It has been three weeks of hell with this company. Its funny how their sales department picks up immediately but Ive been waiting 2 hours on the phone and still currently waiting. Its even funnier my own sister told me to beware and I should have listened. You will literally waist you life waiting on hold.

I attempted to use a zero star rating, which Google doesn't allow. Here's why I suggest avoiding ADT. After using ADT for some time, suddenly the system started sending false 'panic' alarms to the police. Over several months, ADT came out 3 times to correct the problem, to no avail. This generates several problems. Worse than the embarrassment of having police coming in to the building to check if all is okay, it ties up one or more units to do that for no reason. They have far more important things to do. That's not all. In this county you're allowed four false alarms per calendar year after which the police department begins billing the business. Many hundreds of dollars were racked up in false alarm bills. When I finally decided that enough was enough and cancelled my service, ADT billed us over a thousand dollars for 'cancellation' fee. I am currently invoicing them for the false alarm fees, knowing that it will go unanswered. I was recently contacted by an ADT salesman. He was told by ADT management that we cancelled due to competitive pricing. He hadn't even been informed of the real issue. I must say that he was very professional: just uninformed. All in all, I can't suggest strongly enough that you AVOID ADT!!

I called adt for service at a commercial location. It already held some of ADTs equipment, so thats who I opted to go with for what I thought would be sake of ease. I was very wrong. First, the rep tells me he cant make the appt set by his office. No worries, I get it. Then says he will come the next day. No show no call. Then calls me at 8 that night to set an appt the next day. We set a 10-12 window. He comes at 12:30. No worries again. We agree to service, adding one more camera and new motion sensors. We agree to a price. The guy cant even figure out how to send a contract/quote via email. Then calls to get our credit card info, 6 days later. We give it him just to try and get this over with. After another week and a half of nothing getting done, we inquire about our install date. To then be threatened with a loss of discount and have all our info wiped from the system due to not signing a contract (which we still havent received). I called the local office number 3 times to try and find someone competent to complete the order. No one returned my call. But I did get a text from the original salesperson once again demanding a contract to be signed (that he still cant figure out how to send). Needless to say, we are switching companies.

UPDATE: Keep taking it down and I will keep putting it back up. A salesman and trainee came to my house and parked in my driveway like he owned the place. My cameras were recording him. He tells his trainee that my ARLO PRO Floods are garbage as they walk up to the door. Then he sees my door cameras, says to the trainee, "Somebody sold this guy a bunch of equipment." Once I answer the door and the trainee starts to give me his speech, I stop him, point at my cameras and say I already have security. The salesman says, "Why you got these cameras pointing across from each other?" I say, "Because thats where I want them." He tries to go into his speech and I shut him off by saying, "No thanks, I'm not interested." and shut the door. He gives a me a look and does a little huff and they leave. Just rude! I bought my ARLO cameras, I installed them and I don't need adt's overpriced service with their uncourteous salesmen. Note to salesman, if someone has cameras on their house, everything you say is being recorded. Don't park in my driveway, don't talk trash about my security while you're being recorded on camera and don't question me about anything on my property. Learn some manners! I have had ARLO security for almost ten years... no problems, works great!
