The best part of A La Lucie is that it is closing soon. Reservation for a booth was not honored. We were offered a table sandwiched between two other tables next to front door which we declined in favor of waiting fifteen minutes for a cozy table in a corner. Bread came with appetizer about 30 minutes after we sat. We made the mistake of being very hungry and the appetizer was quite small. The main coarse was quite tasty but was served with a spilled glass of water and was served more than an hour after we ordered. By the time the mess was cleaned up dinner was cold.

Fantastic. We went for valentine's day, the food was amazing. The service was amazing. I wish they didn't shove so many tables into such a small space for the occasion, but it was V-day so I can't complain too much. On the other hand, the people who sat next to us (within elbow's reach) on either side were both very friendly couples who talked with us at dinner. It was nice seeing strangers communicating to other people instead of complaining about it or staring down at their smart phones.

The short of it = Cramped seating. Expensive. Decent burger. Frazzled/Rude Hostess. Laid back cool Waiter. Overall this place seems to have management problems.
My girlfriend & I went here for Burger Week not knowing what to expect. We made reservations over the phone, but when we arrived the hostess explained that if the kitchen staff took the reservation then it's not in her book. This is only after she gave our reservation away to someone else, and ignored us to address the next person behind us. Seemed shady.
Our waiter seemed cool, we got our food quick enough. The burger was good, dressed well, but not amazing.
I would not return as the higher prices should warrant a higher standard.

This is a very chic restaurant my wife and I enjoyed very much. People might think it's expensive but the food is great, service is nice, it's quiet and very french/american :)
