image Im friends with a younger woman who escaped a potential abduction at Henry Clay. I had to call Lexington Police twice to get someone to send an officer to the scene. When he arrived he said:
Sometimes women call the cops because someone hit on them at Texas Roadhouse and that he was unaware of the severity of this situation.
I am infuriated and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and compassion within this department, especially when someones life is at stake. It shouldnt matter if its a young child, adult woman, or girl at Texas Roadhouse; Lexington Police needs to be present and willing to serve its community.

Looking Out For The City .. on Yelp

image I am seeing that our enforcement leaders are not being leaders, but being on the level of people who need to be caught. On one occasion, I caught a cop going faster than the speed limit in a school zone and the same cop making sudden stops at stop signs (almost like a screeching stop). Today, I witnessed one vehicle (Lexington Police 8235 or 8238, explorer type vehicle) come off a street that was not a four way stop, but a two lane outlet, proceed to force their way into the passing lane on Hays Blvd. Unless Lexington, KY law states otherwise and just general street etiquette, one must stop between the median until all cross traffic passes. This is a DANGEROUS MANEUVER, which I am not sure is a traffic offense in KY. I see a lot of residents do this and it should be admonished because it makes oncoming drivers react to turn away from the swerve. I would recommend this individual be retrained when driving off a stop sign, sitting in the middle of the median, and waiting for traffic to pass instead of finishing the turn in one turn. How can we expect criminals and unruly drivers to not make these bad maneuvers if the law enforcement do this? Shocking!
