DO NOT TAKE ANIMALS HERE!!!!! I don't normally comment but I wanted everyone to know that Kentucky Wildlife Center is a REGISTERED RESEARCH FACILITY. I seen on the news that they fired a bunch of people who refused to euthanize animals for the Owner who has been dissecting them for her thesis project. Apparently its not illegal to do in KY. Truly a disgusting person. I almost vomited just listening to the news story. There is a few other places you can go in the area but please don't take your wild babies to this place!!

I just seen this place on the news!!! They are a research center and basically experiment on animals. The nasty "lady" who owns the place euthanizes the animals and cuts them up for virus research or something Dont take wildlife to the place!!

We rescued 2 baby squirrels (2 weeks old?). One squirrel was constipated this morning and we couldn't help it. My wife called Kentucky Wildlife Center and she was told to bring both squirrels in and that they would treat the one (at no charge) and give them both back to us. (We didn't ask if we could keep them.) I came by (alone) with the two squirrels and they took them and said that we (civilians) couldn't care for them. I could understand that if we weren't lied to/deceived. Now we're dealing with crying kids that are devastated because they didn't get a chance to say goodbye. How cruel.

In my opinion the "Owner" needs a lot more exercise and a lot less makeup. So unprofessional. I thought I was on an episode of Rupaul's Drag Show for a minute.
