The food and ambience is very good and flavorful. The bread they give you with your meal is really good. The service is also attentive, and the wait, on a Friday night, was not long (10 min). The prices are a bit high for what you get, but overall this is a good restaurant. You definitely pay for the upscale feel of the place. Edit - Travinia closed and is now a bar louie.

The atmosphere was good and the server started out fine, we had some drinks and ordered a bottle of wine while he explained the dishes to us. The manager came to the table as we were getting the bread and appetizer to ask how things were and at that time everything was fine as a matter of fact the crab cake was really good. Its when the food got there was when the problems started. The birthday girl of the bunch ordered a dish with scallops, two of which were so bad she practically spit them back out, her husband ordered the surf and turf fillet Med Rare and it came out tough and over cooked, more like med well, my wife ordered the Sinatra chicken which we knew little about so let me fore warn you it has a desert style cream over it that is so sweet it rendered the dish disgusting but that was our bad for ordering something we knew little about, same for the sausage Rustica, it was good but literally half the dish was cooked red peppers, overall it was tasty but too many peppers and too little cheese. The biggest problem I had was when the waiter came by and seen the steak with only a few bites out of it and my wife's chicken dish with very little eaten we told him our thoughts on the dishes and he made no offer to have them corrected, When you order a fillet you expect a better quality. It makes me wonder if it is company policy for the manager to come out prior to the meal since we never seen her after. I can honestly say the quality of food is about a 3/10, service prior to the meal 8/10 and after the meal a 2/10. Price was about average for a high quality dinner however for the food we received it was way overpriced.
