Suzanne Designs

I first met Suzanne when I purchased an antique wingback chair and knew I would need to get it reupholstered. Her business card was placed at the dealers counter and I ended up calling her for help. I had just moved into a new home that needed upgrades. Being new at decorating my home, I knew I would need help. It became a work in progress because my circumstances did not permit my vacating the home as Suzanne and I proceeded to piece together an overall plan, because when you upgrade one thing, it becomes obvious that other things needed to be upgraded as well. Suzanne was the perfect person for me because of her contacts. She knew upholsterers, floor refinishers, shutter experts, lighting contacts, electricians, woodworkers and drywall experts. There were very few glitches in the process, but whenever a problem occurred, she worked hard to make it right. Besides all of this, she has great design ideas and diplomatically lead me into better design ideas when I had pre-conceived notions of what I wanted. I was never disappointed when she came up with better concepts. Suzanne is professional, personal, punctual, has great integrity and as a final point....she designed an awesome bathroom lavatory in my guest bathroom downstairs as we tried to update to some contemporary mix. It was a great collaboration!! I give her 5 stars!! PS: She also had some handsome draperies made for my mother's condo (4 sets if I remember correctly).

I first contacted Suzanne when my husband and I were ready to renovate our kitchen in our home that was built in 1819. Realizing the kitchen renovation would be a major gut job and were clueless on how to get started, we knew we desperately needed professional help. Although we had never worked with a designer, I found Suzanne’s name and contact information on the internet, took a chance, and I gave her a call. I am so thankful I did! From the moment we met Suzanne, she made us feel comfortable. She listened to our ideas, gave valuable advice, and led us through the project from beginning to end. She set up and attended all appointments and was on site throughout the entire renovation overseeing the progress. She gave honest feedback and dealt with any issues including physically taking up floor tiles before they set up when she saw the contractor had laid them in the wrong direction. Suzanne was professional at all times. Her knowledge and expertise allowed us to create our dream kitchen. We were extremely satisfied with the services and guidance she provided and would definitely recommend her to design and oversee your project.
