My son and I have been taking classes with Bluegrass Ceili Academy for almost two years. Megan is an excellent teacher and meets each individual student where they are and makes sure they have the personalized attention they need to be successful, while encouraging a sense of unity and togetherness in the class. Her standards are high, but she is warm and kind, emsuring that from the youngest dancers through the adults, we know that her goals are attainable and we are doing work that we can be proud of. BCA is more than just a dance school. There is a warmness that is fostered among the dancers. We are supportive of each other in all endeavors, not just related to Irish dance. BCA's goal of being a community based Irish dance school shattered and the bar raised each day with the love and support Megan brings out in all her students.

Bluegrass Ceili Academy welcomed me into the fold. Megan is a fantastic instructor and all the members are friendly and forgive my literal missteps as an adult with 0 dance experience, especially Irish dance! I love this is a community organization that welcomes all. BCA is the best!

A great place to learn Irish dance! Megan is a wonderful teacher, and the whole class has always had a can-do team spirit! You'll get focus on clean technique but also will progress fast enough that you learn lots of new material and will never get bored. A perfect balance. I'll never dance anywhere else in Lexington.
