Afton sent out a slovenly quality control worker named Pam to my home that was rude and insulting to me. Their phone number is out of service. Beware..they did not ask my permission to send her! Someone should advise Pam that racism went out of style in the 60's. She was rude to my black caregiver. Thinking of gifting Pam with a hairbrush as she obviously doesn't own one.

Impossible to communicate with. I am a paraplegic who is paralyzed from the chest down. Having a home health aide makes it possible for me to live in my home alone and not in a nursing home. Afton is the company responsible for providing me my home health assistant. The lady that works in my home is wonderful. Ive had 3 work with me over the years and she is by far the most attentive and helpful that Ive had. Unfortunately my home health aide works for Afton. Im not sure if they are short staffed or just dont care. For months now Ive called them or text for information or to express my concerns with them. Occasionally they will answer my calls but this is extremely rare. If they do answer they inform me they will do something but never do. They have never once responded to a voicemail or text. Its almost laughable. Im not sure what to do at this point. Now that I finally I finally have a home health assistant that helps me but do not like the company that employs her. This company is responsible for my home healthcare to make sure Im safe in my home. There is nothing safe about a service like this being provided with no access to open communication.
