Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home Independence

When my Mother recently passed away, my sister and I had no idea how to proceed in making any arrangements, because neither one of us had ever had to do it before. The first thing we did was to call Chambers and Grubbs in Independence and were so fortunate to have Amanda answer our call. She was so helpful in giving us an overview of how to proceed, and get us booked for an appointment the very next day. We worked with Toni who helped us every step of the way in planning an absolutely beautiful service for our Mom. She knew the answer to every question we had and made everything so easy for us. I also want to mention Tess who was the one to come pick up our Mother from the nursing home. She was so wonderful and professional at a time that was very difficult for us. I can't say enough about all of the staff at Chambers and Grubbs. My sister and I are so thankful for everything they did for us and are forever grateful to them.

We have used Chambers and Grubbs several times with the passing of family members, but when my husband of 46 years passed, I really felt the care and concern this entire organization had for our family. From the initial contact, through choosing the casket and other things, our comfort was at the top of everything they said and did. They helped with not only the ceremony, but also the service oddly making sure all guests were taken care of. Needless to say, I've already prepared my own ceremony with Chambers and Grubbs.

Chris,Janice and ALL the C&G family helped us give our father RFS a special send off to his final resting place. From helping get the paper work done. To arranging the veteran services that are available. Our family has used C&G for many services over the years. It isn't until it is more personal that you really find out what ALL THEY DO! The Independence location was the perfect size for what we needed & was comfortable. I will have to say the horse drawn carriage ride for our father to the cemetery was a majestic memory for many. Tess went above and beyond with everything she did for our Mothers funeral arrangements and service, to the lovely Obituary she wrote for us! We highly recommend using their services if needed for your loved ones in the future.
