        I loved my apartment the whole 8 years I was there and was so sad to leave it. However the new owners which thankfully I was only under for a few months are not honest by any means. Getting a deposit back is rare but I had maintained the apartment the whole 8 years and was told on March 3rd 2021 I would recieve my deposit back by the end of March. I put in my intent to move in December 2020 and was out by February 2021. At the beginning of April I emailed to see where my deposit was and was told I forfeited it because I did not put in an intent to vacate. Once I emailed them the proof that I had as well as the email stating that I would recieve my deposit back by end of March they now will not respond to me at all and have completely ignored me. I have filed a complaint with BBB and will see where that goes for now. Small claims court will probably be my best bet. Just be aware is my only advice.
