Arrived right on time moved a grand (not a baby grand) perfectly delivered it to my daughters home set it back up without scratch. And yes, anytime you move a piano you need to wait 3 or 4 weeks and have it retuned and one must pay it because it is a additional service!! I specifically called and asked how much it would cost to move and tune a small upright piano. Was told $175. I scheduled it for a Saturday and was given a couple days notice to reschedule for Sunday because it was more convenient for him. Well, I was just charged $180 to have two guys deliver a piano 5 miles in the back of a pickup truck and they didn't even tune it. Now, he says I have to wait a month to have it tuned and pay an additional $90. None of which was discussed on the phone. When I told him he was charging me more than quoted and that I was given the impression that tuning was included, he just said a quick sorry and didn't even offer a compromise. Oh, and when you are collecting payment on site in someone's home, you should probably also tell them in advance that you don't take cards. I don't keep large amounts of cash just laying around the house.... Moral of the story is..... I'll be paying someone else to tune my piano and letting all my friends know the cute bait and switch game they played with me.
