Yikes- this place needs updating quite badly. What used to be a restaurant is just a trashy room now, there is a musty smell throughout the non-air conditioned hallways. Carpets are old, and the rooms are quite "tired". Not what I expect from a Ramada.

Wonderful stay! I stayed here over the weekend of 10/28 and loved it. I made reservations earlier in the week without taking much task in looking for reviews or ratings on the hotel, which is usually a big mistake in my experience. As I pulled up I was nervous as the outside of the building and the signage makes the hotel seem pretty poor from the outside. Knowing there was little I could do to change my reservation I went ahead and entered the lobby. The lobby was my first sign that the hotel was not as bad as the exterior looked. The lobby had a very open and clean feel to it and was decorated very nicely. Since I arrived at the earliest time available to check in they had not had time to prepare a room for me to check into so they upgraded me to a King room. The clerk was extremely helpful and made the check in very quick. I went back out and drove down to the door that the clerk said was closest to my room and was still skeptical as the outside still looked poor and I noticed an odor in the parking lot. I have had bad experiences staying at various hotels so I think I'm predetermined to find things out of place. Again as I entered the building it was clear the interior was much nicer than the exterior. I quickly found my room and was surprised it was a very large setup with many amenities. My favorite part is that they had a large refrigerator which I have found many hotels do not include in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was also clean and had wonderful water pressure and temperature. For anyone thinking of staying here I would highly recommend it. I only gave it four stars for the lack of appearance outside but the stay was by far a 5 star stay. For the value you can not beat it and I would recommend this to any of my friends heading to Florence.
