China Gourmet Restaurant

The staff here is amazing. They always take the time to speak with my kids and make our dinner better. They do not have a huge selection but they have everything we like.

I do not plan on going here again I was looking for ocharlies, and when I couldn't find it, I wound up settling for Chinese, which was my second choice anyways. It's clean and priced well, but arriving at noon, you expect fresh food. All the soups and a THICK layer of fleming at the top...more than should be considered normal, there was little variety, the doughnuts were rather sad, and the only seafood was shrimp and imitation crab floating in water. I ate fried rice and headed for the deserts. The macroons tasted stale, and the cake I think was little debbie. The pudding was fine, though, as was the service. However, the staff (ironically) was all standing around watching food network.

DO NOT EAT HERE! this place needs to be shut down. I went here with my husband and two small kids under 4. The food had to be sitting for hours and it was spoiled and most of it un cooked! The shrimp was just sitting in the tray full of water, no ice, it was spoiled so bad walking by made me want to puke. It was noticably spoiled. While grabbing my plate I noticed the cook put out a new tray of pepper steak. It was pink and not even cooked all the way! The sushi bar was horrible. The oysters were sitting in water. no ice. anything that required ice had to be sitting there all day never changed out. The only thing I could feed my children was the rice. The egg drop soup tasted like water. The waiter was so nice, smiling, just overall kind. but this place needs shut down! They charge $10 per person. the same price for a great restraunt you wont get food poisoning at!
