The work they did was good, but the service has been atrocious. We wanted to split the fence between ourselves and the other 2 neighbors who shared the border with us. We agreed to foot the entire bill and our neighbors were to pay us. They weren't they cheapest, but the price was fair. They started on Tuesday 4/10 and told us it would be a 2 day job. They did not come back until Monday 4/17 to finish. Easter weekend fell in between that time and I was disappointed not to have the work completed when we had our backyard Easter Celebration. Not to mention our neighbors have dogs. I was also a little uncomfortable that those who came to do the work brought their own dog and were smoking throughout the job. The work was done, the statement was very vague. It just stated the total number of feet and a total. We paid in full and were charged a 3% credit card fee. When we went to tell our neighbors that we had paid and were just waiting to get a detailed statement so we could figure out what they owed, they told us that they too, had paid in full. So we were double billed for the same section of fence. It was a mistake, we thought. They can get us that statement and a refund. Well here it is a month later and we still have neither. We have contacted the owner multiple times and they have told us information that didn't add up, and agreed that they owe us money, but we still have no refund, and no statement. *** edited to add that we eventually settled up and got a refund for the amount that our neighbor paid. We did not get the itemized statement that we were hoping for that gave the square footage of each section of the fence. We were confused about paying the 3% credit card fee for the total of the fence when someone else had already paid for part of it, but we took that loss so we could just move on and be done.
