Wesley Medical Center Emergency Room

They will kill you! Wesely staff and workers dont care. If you advocate to loud, nursing staff will report during shift change you are a problem (only because you care about your loved one). My mother was in the hospital, she was very ill. Staff on the floor didnt care. One particular nurse named James, lacked empathy and compassion, He stayed at the desk texting when I was asking for assistance with my mother. Things got so bad I spoke with Kelly Fells (the nurse manager), her boss Sara Gean, all were dismissive, nonchalant and condescending about issues. I then emailed ALL upper management to voice concerns: William Voloch (CEO, president), Cathan Riding (COO), Nicole Castleberry (CFO), Lisa Yingling (director of CM), Lowell Ebersole (chief medical officer), David Leslie(Chief Nursing Officer), and Lisa Clark (VP of human resources). Not one of them had the decency to come off their high horse to address any concerns into formal complaints and emails I sent. They go around claiming all these ICARE values and compassion they are supposed to have, then they treat patients bad. Its all about money and filling beds. My mothers coat ended up stolen, she was given the wrong medications for over a week (dr. Frank admitted that). She could have died at the hands of this careless money grabbing institution. I cant say via christi is much better but its a shame that no one cares.

Terrible wait! Im in the waiting room from 9:30pm and its now 2:30am. Unbelievable. Theres another family whos been here since 6!!! Its filthy, floors are unswept and bathroom is nasty. No soap either. Water fountains are out of order and dont ask for any or youll get attitude. NEVER COME HERE

This place is unprofessional.here for bp/heart issues, last thing they did was vitals.No warning, student does the iv, went threw the vein.dirty room. we will never be back here, should have looked at the 2.8 rating.. receceptionists good..Dr not the best.. rate 0

Horrible. My 2.5 year old barely got attention. She was lethargic when we got in there, got a burst of energy and seemed a little better but still sick. They swabbed her for strep only because her sister had it. She tested negative and they sent us home. Her primary called us back and told us we needed to go to St Francis and thats where they figured out she was very very dehydrated. They gave her lots of fluids and made her better. Shame on Wesley for pushing my lethargic daughter out like that.

My son whos only six got the best care from all the staff. The emergency room check in was super helpful as well as the pediatrician side. They did not bandaid my son. They went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care. Mrs. Melinda was the best nurse ever! She made sure my son was as comfortable as much as he could be even when giving him an IV. With my sons intellectual disability she still made things a lot easier on him. The doctors were very helpful with understanding the situation and to making sure that he was going to get the best care. Even with doing a CT scan they made it fun for him that he loved being in the rocket ship . I just wanted to give a big thank to Wesley team !!!!
