I hate giving five stars but it is well deserved! Mike took time to listen to what we wanted instead of just slapping a system in. Great attention to detail. His price was tooooo honest. We would have paid him more. We are grateful to have our family safe.

We were blown away by the work done recently (March 2019) by Mid America Radon to remedy the high radon levels in our basement. Ours was a tough case that needed more than the standard remediation and they went above and beyond our expectations to remedy it fully. They were friendly and punctual, the rates were competitive, and the work was top notch. We would fully recommend them for radon testing and remediation.

We had a radon pipe installed about a year and half ago. In our house, we have a sump pump. Around the sump pump, there were major gaps around where I could fit my whole hand down there. Meanwhile, about a week ago, we had to put in a new sump pump, and the sump pump guy said that he had never seen a sump sealed like that. There were major spaces where the radon could escape. So, we called Midwest to have them come out and do the job right. . When the Midwest guy got here, he went downstairs and looked at it, and said he wasn't going to do anything. It was done right the first time. He threw his hands up in the air and stormed out. I told him I was going to call his manager and he didn't care. He made no attempt to make things right. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed.

I had a great experience with getting my system installed. My installer Mike did a great job and actually went out of his way to help me understand the whole process. The best thing is you can't tell I have a randon system because its not hanging off the side of my house for the whole world to see. He ran it in a way that you can't see and my house doesn't look trashy. I'll recommend this company to everyone.

Customer service is terrible! They did our work a year and a half ago, and it took the plumber from Bob Hamilton to tell us that he had never seen work like this. They had puzzled pieces of plastic around our sump pump. There were major gaps allowing radon gas to get out. So, we called them. They guy who came out said "What's the problem?" He then preceded to go downstairs without me leading him. When we got down there, he said he couldn't do anything. I said something needs to happen because radon gas is escaping into our basement where we have kids playing. I told him that this job was half way. He said he was the one who did the job in the first place, threw his hands in the air and said he wasn't doing anything. I told him we were going to call his manager, and he said he didn't care. I have never had customer service like this before. It was really eye opening! The pictures below are what another company did after this company said they couldn't do anything. The first one is what this company did, and the second one is what the other company did. They built it up around the sump pump, and I couldn't be happier. See something could be done!!!! By the way, the customer service was amazing. Don't waste your time with this company!
