Recently moved to KS from AZ, and needed a good neurosurgeon. Saw one in another town and was not impressed. A nurse recommended Dr Boswell.The office staff was friendly and efficient. Dr Boswell was the answer to our prayers. What impressed us first was, he listened and heard what we said. It was easy to talk with him, we did not feel rushed and he was concerned with my husband's problem. Dr Boswell proposed a plan of action and we agreed. Before Dr Boswell left the exam room, every single question we had, was answered. His awesome staff then came in and gave concise, clear, instructions, and answered our questions. Dr Boswell even informed us about Morrison House since we live 3 hours away. Day of surgery, we got to talk with Dr Boswell in the pre op area. Dr Boswell said a prayer, which we really needed! The OR contacted me frequently intra op with updates. I appreciated that immediately after a several hour procedure Dr Boswell told me the details of the surgery, including difficulty with the hardware from a previous lumbar fusion. I appreciated that Dr Boswell did not minimize or avoid discussing the difficulty. Again, all my questions were answered. My husband's recovery from his first fusion can't even be compared to this recovery. We attribute it to the excellent pain control associated with Dr. Boswell's care .Also to be commended are the hospital nursing staff that provided excellent care. Danese RN was spot on with the administration of pain meds the first two nights. Excellent orders, excellent nursing care. I am an RN of 30 years, 25 plus as a OR Circulator and my husband, is retired MRI,CT, X ray Technologist. So we are both VERY familiar with Physicians and OR's, hospitals, etc and this whole experience was above reproach. Not a single negative thing to say. DR BOSWELL, you are a blessing to us.
