The physicians and staff are great but billing is a huge problem to the point where we will never return. We ended up in the middle of a billing dispute between our health insurance company and the hospital. Turns out there is something called balance billing where the hospital was trying to collect an amount from us beyond the allowed amount by our insurer which we should not have been obligated to pay. When the insurer repeatedly tried to call the billing department, they were never able to get through. In the meantime, we were continually contacted by collections until the insurance company finally got things resolved by sending letters, etc. Never going back.

I worked here as a psa patient safety attendant for a year and half.Gabrielle and Kelsey came and ruined it. Patients fall and they do notify the families I set with a patient that had fallen daughter came in and seen may and had to ask what was it for her father had fell and they did not contact her patient died / days later. Overland Park is the work HCA they hire blacks to fill the gaps but treat them less than.It is a segregated hospital.After a year in a half I misplaced my badge and had to borrow one they harassed me about having it.My causcasian peer asked why are they tripping I always borrow one and they say nothing making it clear to me I was being discriminated against.HCA sucks.
