Bike America

Recently, I asked them to inspect a flat tire to see if it just needed a new tube or did the tire itself need to be replaced. They told me the problem was just the tube, put a new one in, and off I went. Well, unfortunately, it appears there was still something sharp stuck in my tire that they hadn't seen and the new tube went completely flat just a few days later. I bought a new tire from them and they replaced the tube again for free. When you buy a bike from them, they will tune it FOREVER for free. Great customer service.

Bike America is the best Bike store in Kansas City. If you go any other place your wasting time and money. I recently started riding again and Bike America has been the best place to go for all of my needs. They have also helped put my son's bike back in shape. I have been to three other shops in town and Bike America is the best. Don't waste your time and money with the others, head straight to Bike America. Thanks guys!

These guys are good to work with. Yeah, the shop had a few issues a few years ago, but all has been corrected service is back to excellent with good prices. I am using them exclusively now for my biking needs.

I have been looking for a mountain bike for a bit trying to decide between new with good components or used with excellent components. I worked with Joe over a couple weeks. He brought in and built new bikes for me to try as well as a couple high end used bikes to match up with. I ended up going with a used/excellent components Santa Cruz bike. Joe didn't like the way the forks were handling so he replaced them before letting me take the bike....class. There was never any pressure, Bike America completely worked with my schedule to have the bikes ready for me to look at when I came in. The whole process was very positive. I will buy all my bikes and components from Joe at Bike America from here on out. Side note: when I settled on the Santa Cruz and was paying for it, my four year old son was very mesmerized by the cliff bar display. Joe gave him a cliff bar to take home at no cost. Very small financial gesture but in my opinion shows his care for the customer/family. Highly recommended.

I have taken my $150 Walmart Schwinn special in about five times now and only have been charged once! These people are SO nice!!!
