Next to Nature Landscape

I have had the chance to see how NTN works as a contractor in a different field but in close working proximity. Being a service provider myself, I’m not often impressed given good service should be expected. The guys at Next To Nature go above and beyond when nobody is looking. That says a lot me!

I live on State Line, adjacent to KU property that is an unused parking lot between 36th and 37th street. "Next To Nature's" crew was assembled en masse this morning so I went to inform them that the very last hold out of a formerly flourishing ground hog community was in one hole on the property. The young man walked with me, saw the hole and told me he had wondered if that was a rabbit hole. I said, "Nope. Groundhogs. Would you please tell your boss to leave the leaf cover intact in that one spot and minimize disturbance?" "Yes" Instead, they knocked down all flora and fauna over the hole. I approached the young man again. "Sorry", said he, "We called the boss and he said to clear it". Not sure if the boss, whose name was given, also instructed the supervisor of the crew to spray weeding chemicals directly down the hole for 10 seconds or not. That may have been the super's prerogative, but that is what they did next. Very disappointing and unbefitting your name.
