2 year old unit from Air Max and motor is already going out. Our house is smelling like burning plastic so we turned unit off. Tried to call the company and text Josh personally. No response. Josh won’t return our texts. The company mailbox is full so we can’t even leave a message. We had another company come out and they said the installation is wrong and doesn’t include the correct ventilation for the size of the unit so motor is overheating. Lenox won’t honor warranty due to error in installation. 1400 dollars for a reputable company to reinstall so it’s done correctly. Thanks a lot , Air Max. As if money isn’t tight enough as it is right now.

Put in a new a/c and heater prolly three months ago. A/C stopped working. Josh would not answer phone calls. Called at least three times. Then texted him, still no answer. Had to call Anthony Heating and Cooling which had to pay them because Josh was a NO-SHOW. Customer service??? Anthony's H&C was great, they said a connection was not done properly and reconnected it. So this morning wake up. House is cold. Turn on the heater. Now the heater doesn't work. Not gonna every try to call Josh because I know he does not stand behind his work and doesn't really care about my furnace working. So I will call Anthony H & C and pay them when Josh SHOULD come out since it's only been three months since I paid him CASH to install my units. You run a real good business there JOSH, certainly will tell everyone NOT to use you!!!

Their technicians are rude and lazy and don’t fix anything. However they will request to use you cell phone when theirs dies so that they can call their boss and get step by step instructions on how to do their job. The owner or manager Josh is rude and condescending to women and renters. Unfortunately for me I had no choice in who my landlord sent out but I wouldn’t NEVER recommend these clowns do any work on your home!

Josh was WONDERFUL! He was out of town and not able to physically come check out our AC, but he diagnosed the problem over the phone. We then had another company come out, and they confirmed his diagnosis. Josh was very willing to work with us, and he gave us great recommendations and price! I recommend calling AirMax Heating and Cooling Inc before you try any of the big guys!

Although they were very responsive, cost-efficient and courteous, I just had to pay double what I did with them to replace the part they installed incorrectly. Plus they do not provide any warranty for their work or parts. I will not be using them moving forward and I recommend a different Olathe HVAC company.
