Our office, Family Eyecare Center, has done business with Stitch by Stich for many years and have been thrilled with the quality of work and customer service. They are always helpful and I love that we can support a great local business. I have also shopped there personally for gifts. Their selection of local team items is great!

This place does not deserve one star. Back on January 9th, 2015 I took in a jersey to see if they could customize it. I had three questions for them that they answered yes to two of them and then 2 weeks to complete it and that it would be expensive. First, I explained what I wanted and if they could do it? I wanted a number sewn on the back with an outline, last name above, and a small embroidered fights cancer ribbon up front. she answered YES. Second, I asked them if they wanted to do it? YES was their answer. Third, I asked the shop owner how long could I expect it to take and that I was not in any hurry, I just want it done right. She told me it would take two weeks tops. I put it off for a while trusting that they were busy and doing the right thing. Exactly two weeks ago I walked into their shop and asked for an update. The shop owner got a little snooty with me about being behind because she was in the hospital for a few days. I said "no worries, just get done when you can". She told it would be done in a week and it was still hanging right were they put it when I dropped it off! I walked in today and the shop owner was sitting with her nose in the computer and never acknowledged me expect to tell her mother that my jersey was hanging next to the lettermen's jackets right were they placed it 9 weeks ago. I asked for it back and it was handed over and her mother apologized for not getting it done. Well, so much for patience and trying to support the local businesses here in Leavenworth. Regardless of her hospital stay and whatever other reason she has for not completed a job on time. You are only as good as word and your product! I can not say anything good about this business or the service they are supposed to offer. If you are planning on getting custom embroidery done take the time and drive down to K.C. and have someone who knows what they are doing. Soon enough and this little business will be closed.

I would actually give this a negative review if I could. I originally took my son's jacket in the first part of December. I had to pick it up before completion so that he could actually wear it while it was cold. It took for absolute ever to get his name in. The excuse was that the company they ordered from was backlogged and I should feel lucky because there's other companies that are closed for 3 months during this time of year. I'm sorry, but that is not the way to do business. If you know your vendor sucks, find a new vendor. I don't feel that having to pay close to $150 to buy the patches and have them sewn on should take 3+ months. I try to stay local with purchases such as this and this time, I really wish that I would have gone into the city.
